South Federal Territory

The South Federal Territory (SFT) as a favourable natural and economical formations is well-integrated in the Russia ’s economical system. The renowned exporters here are The Volgogradskaya Oblast (30%), the Krasodarsky Krai (29), and the Rostovskaya Oblast (22%), the major importers being The Rostovskaya Oblast and the Krasodarsky Krai (33% each). The volume of the exported goods coming out of the Rostovskaya Oblast has gone up to 47% with the import remaining at the level of 2004. Most of the exported and imported goods flow abroad, while the commodity exchange with the CIS states still need boosting.
